In the summer of 2015, my then-fiancé received her scuba diving certification because we had a desire to dive together around the world after our upcoming wedding in October. Right before leaving for our destination wedding, I wanted to surprise her with a dive log that we could both share as we begin our lives together as one. I drove around to different dive shops in the area and even searched online for a “dive logbook for couples” but - to my frustration - there was no such dive logbook in existence. I had to settle for a regular dive logbook that we could use on our first dive in Negril.
A few days after our wedding as we were relaxing on the beach, the idea hit me! Why don’t I create this dive logbook that I wanted to gift my wife and share it with the diving community? Right there and then, I grabbed a pencil and paper and began to design the interior pages of the book. The final piece in the pages design was creating an area where couples could take a picture of their dive together and attach it to the log along with all the other important information related to the dive. My wife, with her first-class design skills helped design the logbook cover and thus: The Duvoy Dive Log For Couples was born.
